SO EXCITED!

Will bought me a new camera today! It's my Christmas present but he got it for me early so I can learn how to use it before the holidays when I plan on taking approximately one million photos of Bowie!

We got the Canon PowerShot SX30 IS. I wasn't ready (mentally or financially) to commit to an SLR so, after reading a bunch of reviews and collecting suggestions from frends, I decided on this digital camera. It will take better pictures than a point-and-shoot since it has an enormous, high quality lens but I won't have to spend a lot of time learning how to use it. I am so excited to try it out tomorrow.
