A Year Ago Today

I looked like this:

 I was a whole week late and HUGE. I had given up that Bowie would ever come out and I had also, apparently, given up on a bra. Yikes. I'm going to take a moment to laugh at this photo, you should too...

But this day a year ago, even though I was scheduled to be induced at 4pm, I started having contractions. We were headed to the hospital just to "check" and then come back home for me to labor but, as it turned out, we wouldn't be leaving the hospital without a baby.
